Where to start with Nikki + Pete’s breathtaking South African wedding? There was a moment towards the end of the day where I took a step back to quietly soak up the beauty of the day– from the movie set-like homes where P+N got ready to the incredible venue that is Dirt Therapy. Then there was the heart warming, raw, and intentional ceremony, Nikki’s one of a kind dress, and Pete’s ring hand made by his wonderful mum. The electro didgeridoo beats, confetti and confetti cannons, a choreographed first dance and a bride in a mustard suit that was so bloody cool I may or may not have ordered one for myself. Not to mention the Robberg Nature Reserve where we dodged the rain only to be rewarded with the most amazing golden light bursting through clouds.
