When it’s 100F outside with 90% humidity the most sensible thing to do is turn the air conditioning up a wee notch, eat some cookies and curl up with your love, which is exactly what Ben and Maddie wanted to do for their in home engagement shoot. Capturing these two in their first home together was such a treat and I hope something they’ll look back on fondly for their rest of their lives. I’m striving to photograph people being themselves, capturing natural emotions. Nothing forced or false, just two people in love, eating cookies and ice cream. Trying to stay cool.
